While sitting and observing the beauty and quietness around me, the thought of simple world versus modern world dilemma filled my mind. These last 4 days I was away, isolated from the hustle and bustle of a big city. I was in a world where my inner soul listened to Mother Nature talking freely with its movement, delicacy and grandiosity.
I was totally in piece and I was grateful to be so close to what I am part of. It was windy, with some heavy clouds in one of the edges of Scottish mainland. Nature was showing its strength. At that moment I didn’t need anything else in my life. I was fulfilled. My desire was to be there forever, living in a simple world. Nature had abducted me.
However, were my thoughts realistic? What about all the tech world I am so dependent on, mainly with regard to what I most love to do? It is at this precise moment that the simple world versus modern world dilemma arises. I give a smile and I welcome our human nature. I take a deep breath and let the nature get inside me as an attempt to keep it as much as I can. Nature is in my photography to preserve my feelings for it.
Where do I sit now? In the comfort of my sofa, in front of a computer not forgetting there is a deep inner force inside me and that I am inwardly connected to nature absorbing its energy…
